Elon Musk torched Bill Gates at the Qatar Economic Forum, calling him out for his close ties with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and thus disqualifying him from expressing concerns for children. As Musk made the comment in a video conference, the audience erupted cheering for him.
Musk was asked to react to the recent comments Bill Gates made on USAID -- the agency that Elon Musk's DOGE shut. Bill Gates said the poorest children of the world will die because of Elon Musk's decision.
"The picture of the world’s richest man killing the world’s poorest children is not a pretty one," Gates said. Elon Musk called him a 'huge liar' for this statement.
As Elon Musk was asked to comment on the same topic. Musk was unforgiving. "Who does Bill Gates think he is to make comments about the welfare of children, given that he was very close with Jeffrey Epstein...I wouldn't want that guy to babysit my kid," Elon Musk said. To this, the moderator from the Qatar summit added that Bill Gates had already apologized for his inglorious association and asked Musk if he had checked the data to find out if what Bill Gates is saying is true. Elon Musk said he had checked and there is no such concern.
Musk announces step back from politics, will remain Tesla CEO even after five years
At the summit, Elon Musk committed to Tesla leadership in five years' time and said there is no doubt that he will remain the CEO even after five years -- unless he's dead, he said. He said he would invest less in politics now on as he did what was needed to be done.
"I'm not someone who has ever committed violence and yet massive violence was committed against my companies, massive violence was threatened against me," Elon Musk said when he was asked what made him think twice about his involvement in politics.
