Jhunjhunu: Police Tuesday arrested a man for allegedly robbing a jeweller of Rs 8.50 lakh and jewellery on Aug 18 in Sikar. Another suspect is still at large.
Dadia police station officer Ashok Kumar said that Krishna Kumar Swami, a resident of Fakodiyon ki Dhani, was arrested for the robbery. His accomplice, Vikram alias Papla, is still on the run, he said. The police reviewed CCTV footage, which led to the arrest of suspect Krishna Kumar. Both suspects were unemployed and became indebted due to their expensive tastes. In an attempt to repay their debts, they carried out the robbery, he said. tnn
