*Warning: This article contains spoilers for The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3.*
After three years, The Summer I Turned Pretty's love triangle has finally come to an end.
The Prime Video series, based on Jenny Han's popular novels, has tracked the romantic journey of Belly Conklin (portrayed by Lola Tung) as she navigates her feelings for brothers Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) and Conrad (Christopher Briney).
In the third and concluding season, Belly is seen preparing to wed Jeremiah, only for Conrad to declare his everlasting love for her just hours before the ceremony. Jeremiah subsequently calls off the wedding, leading Belly to escape to Paris for a new beginning.
The previous episode left viewers in suspense as Conrad took a flight to Paris, intending to once again express his feelings to Belly. But does he succeed in winning her back?
Ultimately, Belly makes her decision, but things don't unfold as smoothly as fans might have anticipated, reports the Mirror.
Upon arriving in Paris, Conrad discovers Belly getting ready for an early birthday celebration with her mates. Despite her initial reluctance, she agrees to show him around Paris.
Despite visiting specifically to see her, Conrad pretends that he is in town due to a work obligation in Brussels.
They spend the day exploring the City of Love, and Belly later invites Conrad to her birthday dinner. During the celebration, viewers learn that Belly "dumped" her new beau Benito after he invited her to visit his grandmother in Mexico.
This seemingly paves the way for Belly and Conrad to rekindle their romance, as they end up sharing a bed that night.
However, Belly is reluctant to delve into her feelings for Conrad and rebuffs him after he declares his love for her.
She voices her uncertainties about their relationship, saying: "I've always loved you, that's the problem. How are we supposed to know if we love each other because we want to and not because we were told to?"
Belly went on to say: "If we didn't lose Susannah would it loom so large for us. What if you only love me because that's what your mum wanted and then your mum died?"
Conrad then clarified his feelings, promising: "That is not why I love you. I have tried everything not to love you. For the sake of Jere, for the sake of not dragging you down with me in my grief.
"I have fought it, way before the summer that my mum got sick. You've always been a precious person to me, I have always cared about you."

He continued: "But the way that I feel about you, Belly, has nothing to do with my mum. If I met you for the first time tonight, I would love you."
The elder Fisher brother then professed: "Because I've changed everything about myself, and the one thing that never changes is that I love you."
Despite his heartfelt declaration, Belly revealed that she remains uncertain about her feelings for Conrad, and sends him away to Brussels.
However, in the episode's closing moments, Belly reflects on her choice.
Audiences hear the main character's internal thoughts as she comes to understand: "I still love him. I have brown hair and brown eyes and I will always love Conrad Fisher."
The pair are reunited aboard the train, where Belly finally chooses Conrad, leaving no uncertainty as she declares: "I choose you."
They later return to Cousins together and viewers discover that they enjoyed a romantic Christmas in Paris as the credits roll.
