Liverpool will debut their new away kit in the upcoming Community Shield match against Crystal Palace on Sunday. The Reds revealed their new kits for the forthcoming season at the beginning of the month, following a 10-year partnership agreement with German kit manufacturer Adidas, replacing Nike.
Arne Slot's team sported the new home colours in both friendly matches against Athletic Bilbao last Monday at Anfield.
The away kit, described as having ecru shirts and socks with black shorts, will be worn for the first time against Palace at Wembley.
On Friday, the club announced record-breaking sales of the new home and away kits, with the home kit sales surpassing last year's launch by over 700%, receiving orders from more than 150 countries.
Community Shield extra-time and penalty rulesIf the match is drawn after 90 minutes, it will proceed directly to penalties, with each team allowed to makeup to six substitutions from a bench of nine players.
Semi-automated offside technology will be utilised, with in-stadium announcements for any decision on reviewed incidents, which will be made by referee Chris Kavanagh.
Wembley will also pay tribute to Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, who tragically lost their lives in a car crash last month. Wreaths will be laid in honour of the pair before kick-off, followed by a moment of silence just before the game commences.
