The BBC have sparked another "woke" row after slapping an adored comedy show with a trigger warning for "discriminatory language". Among its large library of nostalgic shows available to stream on iPlayer, it has warned viewers about The Fast Show.
The sketch comedy series, which first aired in the 90s, starred Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson and took a stab at most stereotypes that were depicted in Britain at the time. However, its infamous Suit You Sir scene was hit with a trigger warning by BBC bosses. According to The Sun, fans are advised about its "discriminatory language" before watching the show. The series three episode, which first landed on screens in December 1997, shows a tailor asking a customer if they would like to have sex with a "she male."

In response, the customer abruptly and brazenly shouted: "Come on, you t******s!"
Meanwhile, an episode from the second series, originally broadcast in 1996, shows two men lash out after making unsuccessful advances on women.
However, when they're swiftly rejected, the pair labelled the women "lesbians".
Throughout its four series run on the BBC, The Fast Show aired 28 episodes before it was axed by bosses; however, the episodes are now available on iPlayer.
This comes after it was recently revealed that the BBC had issued a similar warning to Ricky Gervais's comedy series The Office.
The hit mockumentary sitcom created by comedians Ricky, 64, and Stephen Merchant, famously stars Ricky as paper company boss David Brent, before its American spin-off became a worldwide phenomenon.
Both series of the noughties programme were already labelled with a G symbol on BBC iPlayer, which flags parental guidance for younger viewers.
But nearly half of the BBC series' 14 episodes, following life at Wernham Hogg's Slough office, now also carry the additional content notice.
Earlier this year, the iconic sitcom Only Fools and Horses was hit with various disclaimers warning viewers of "racial language" words that "may offend" and "dated attitudes and behaviours".
