Amanda Holden's popular Netflix series, Cheat: Unfinished Business, has been cancelled after just one season despite its impressive viewership.

The programme, filmed in Majorca, Spain, featured Amanda, 54, and Paul C. Brunson, as they guided eight former couples who had separated due to infidelity through a luxury retreat to resolve their issues.

However, reports suggest that the show will not be returning for a second series, even though it was "being one of the most streamed shows on the platform".

A source told The Sun: "Despite Cheat being popular with audiences Netflix has decided to pursue new show formats. Bosses love Amanda and are in talks with her on three different show ideas, so it's likely fans will see a lot more of her on the platform in the future.

"Amanda is still very much one of the hardest working women in showbiz and is booked & busy for the foreseeable future.

"On top of hosting the UK's biggest radio show Heart Breakfast every weekday, it recently overtook Radio 2, BGT auditions commence in October."

Amanda is also currently filming series four of Alan and Amanda in Greece while her new quiz show, The Inner Circle, is set to launch on BBC One in October.

Meanwhile a Netflix spokesman confirmed to the publication: "Cheat: Unfinished Business won't be returning." Amanda's representative has been approached for comment.

Amanda has revealed that hosting a dating show has altered her own relationship with her husband, as she confessed to taking notes during filming.

While promoting the show, she admitted that she had been paying attention to what Paul had been advising other couples, took notes, and applied those to her own relationship.

Speaking about the show and Paul's advice in an interview with Closer UK, she said: "He gives out amazing advice that I literally made notes on throughout filming. I was really nice to my husband Chris across the summer when we were making the show!".

Previously, Amanda opened up about her marriage on her radio show Heart FM, stating: "I've been married for over 20 years. Well, I met him in 2003, I can't work it out.

"Anyway, a long time, and our lives have been very separate for a long time because we're both very busy. Obviously, we're very happily married, but we do lots of things separately.

"I love my Peloton and running, he goes and plays squash. He's got a massive career as well. We're always separate, you know."
