Mumbai: Social media influencer and Gauahar Khan’s brother-in-law Awez Darbar’s eviction from ‘Bigg Boss 19’ didn’t go down well with viewers, many of whom felt it was ‘unfair’.
Reports have now emerged claiming Awez exited the show voluntarily, and his family apparently paid the makers of the show for his pullout.
As per the report, the show makers wanted to introduce Awez’s ex-girlfriend Shubhi Joshi as a wild-card entry. However, Awez’s family didn’t want any drama in his life because of the past relationship, especially after Baseer Ali and Armaan Malik’s claims.
In an interview, Shubhi also confirmed that she was in a relationship with the influencer, thereby sparking speculation that he had cheated on his current girlfriend Nagma Mirajkar.
After Gauahar appeared as a guest on the show, she checked with the makers about their plans for a wild-card entry.
When she didn’t get a proper answer, her family decided to pull out Awez from the show.
Awez is a popular content creator with over 20.4 million Instagram followers and 12.6 million YouTube subscribers.
