According to the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, Fahad's murder is part of suppressing the voice of the Baloch because his only crime was being a Baloch.
Baloch Liberation Front leader Nazar Baloch strongly condemned Pakistan's policies towards Balochistan. He accused the government of systematic atrocities against the Balochs. Nazar Baloch called the struggle a legitimate fight against Pakistan's occupation and said it was at par with globally recognized freedom movements.
He said the Pakistani army uses fabricated stories to defame the Baloch conflict. He refuted claims that Baloch fighters were targeting innocent civilians.
He said Pakistan promotes instability by supporting groups like IS in Afghanistan, targeted killing of Baloch dissidents abroad and maintaining hostile relations with its neighbours.
He blamed the ISI for the murder of Karima Baloch and Sajid Hussain abroad. Nazar appealed to the United Nations, European Union, India, Iran, Afghanistan and other countries to declare the ISI a terrorist organization.
Kidnapped Fahad Lehri's body recoveredThere is outrage among the people of Balochistan after the body of student Fahad Lehri was found ten days after he disappeared from Mastung. The bullet-riddled body was found in the same area from where he was kidnapped.
According to the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, Fahad's killing was not an isolated incident but part of a wider campaign to suppress the voice of the Baloch. He was not produced in court. No arrest warrant. No legal process. No trial. His only crime was being a Baloch, the spokesperson said.
