River Island's 'perfect' £50 summer beaded bag is an 'instant must have'

River Island shoppers are praising a "perfect" bag they've spotted online. The high street giant is well known for its on-trend clothing and accessories - and there might just be a new favourite in stock.

The retailer took to to show off the which is priced at £50. The beaded bag is part of a premium collection from River Island, featuring a 'spicy marg' graphic, a zip-around closure and chain strap.

The social media post was captioned: "Coming in hot… summer just got a bit spicier." The photos racked up more than 2,400 likes and over 100 comments from excited shoppers.

Raving about the Yellow Spicy Marg Beaded Bag, one person said: "omg wow" while a second wrote: "Need this bag." A third added: "Love that!"

customers have expressed their thoughts on the retailer via review website TrustPilot. One customer, who used the Click and Collect service, commented: "This is the fourth time I've ordered for store collection and the order has been lost/never arrived in store. It's just not a reliable service."

Another customer, who experienced issues with a bag, stated: "I paid £32 for a cross body bag, have had to had it replaced twice since I bought it less than 6 months ago as the stitching has come away. The store replaced it no problem but so disappointed with the quality."

Beneath the Instagram post, however, the response was positive. Replying to customers, River Island wrote: "An instant must have!" and "The obsession is real."

Praise from shoppers continued, with one saying: "This is too cute" and a second writing: "Absolutely LOVE this." A different shopper said: "Oh so spicy," and wrote: "."

A third tagged a friend and added: "now this has got your name all over it." Another shopper commented: "Okay, I am obsessed!" One said: "No I need this right now."
