Mike Tindall appeared to set the record straight about his first date with his wife Zara on an appearance on this morning.
The 46-year-old joined and live from the course as he spoke about his charity golf event which raises money for Parkinson's. Towards the end of the interview, Kate couldn't help but bring up Zara's brutal admission about her first impression of Mike. "She said when she first met you she found you boring!," Kate exclaimed.
"I mean, there's many things you are Mike but I've never thought you were boring. Were you trying to be on your best behaviour to impress royalty?"

Chuckling, Mike responded: "No, I think the boring chat was the first time we met and I'd just been dropped from the Rugby World Cup semi-final so I probably really wasn't in the mood at that point.
"I would hope that I've made up for it and she's probably gone the other way on her first thoughts."
Yesterday, as Mike took to social media to share a gushing tribute. Sharing a photo of the two, he penned: "Happy Birthday to the better Tindall. She’s even let me play golf on her birthday!"
Addressing how he spent his wife's birthday on , Mike said: "It was her birthday yesterday and I truly spoiled her by bringing her to the world-class Belfry.
"She got to hang out with 70 people she only sees once a year, it was exactly what she wanted for her birthday," Mike continued as Kate and Adil burst into laughter.
Zara and Mike first met in 2003 during the Rugby World Cup in Sydney. Seven years later, the announced their engagement in a statement which read: "The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Zara Phillips to Mr. , son of Mr. Phillip and Mrs. Linda Tindall."
The couple then got married a year later and welcomed their first child, daughter Mia, in 2014. They then welcomed their second daughter Lena in June 2018.
In 2021, Mike and Zara welcomed their first son, Lucas Philip.
