Indore (Madhya Pradesh): City crime branch arrested a person from Maheshwar and recovered ganja worth Rs 2.1 lakh from his possession, police said on Tuesday.
According to a crime branch officer, information was received that a person was roaming in Rajendra Nagar area and he was carrying ganja.

He was later arrested after the team cordoned off the area and recovered more than 10 kilograms of ganja from him.
The accused was identified as Sohan Dawar, a resident of Maheshwar. He allegedly informed the police that he had bought ganja from someone from his area at a cheap price and he was trying to deliver the same at a higher price.
The cannabis and his mobile phone was seized by the police and the accused was booked under section 8/20 of the NDPS act and further investigation is underway.
