Putrada Ekadashi 2025: Putrada Ekadashi is celebrated on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the savior of the world. By fasting on this date, a person attains salvation.
This day is even more special for women. It is said that donating yellow things and feeding fodder to a cow on Putrada Ekadashi creates the yoga of getting a child. Apart from this, by worshiping Tulsi in the evening, one also gets the blessing of a long life for the child. This year, Sawan Putrada Ekadashi fast is on 5th August. There will be a combination of Jyeshtha Nakshatra and Aindra Yoga on this date.
In such a situation, reciting Vishnu Chalisa can be auspicious. Its effect can give mental peace, monetary benefits, freedom from disease.
