Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing Indian Air Force personnel at the Adampur Air Force Station in Punjab on Tuesday, praised the armed forces for their precision strikes under Operation Sindoor. Speaking with emotion and pride, he said that India not only destroyed terror camps and air bases in Pakistan but also crushed their audacity and malicious intent. His visit came in the wake of recent heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following retaliatory strikes on May 7.
Operation Sindoor and India’s Message to the World
During his address, PM Narendra Modi underlined that the Indian armed forces had not just targeted infrastructure but had sent a clear message to those who dare to harm India. “I can proudly say that all of you reached your targets with perfection,” he told the IAF personnel. He emphasized that the operation struck deep into Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, destroying terror camps and military air bases. However, more importantly, it also shattered Pakistan’s nefarious strategies and overconfidence. Modi described the mission as a defining moment, with the courage of Indian soldiers making history that will be remembered for generations.
The Spirit of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’
Echoing the patriotic spirit, PM Narendra Modi stated that “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” is more than just a slogan—it is a soldier’s commitment to give their life for the nation. He added that this spirit resonates every time India’s missiles and drones find their target. “When our forces take the wind out of nuclear blackmail, our enemies understand the meaning of Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” he said. This was a direct reference to Pakistan’s nuclear posturing, which Modi said had been thoroughly dismantled by India’s unwavering military action.
The Prime Minister’s visit to Adampur came after recent engagements with air force personnel at Ambala and Pathankot air bases. At all three stations, PM Narendra Modi interacted with pilots, engineers, and officers who played a key role in the success of Operation Sindoor. He expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the nation and saluted the bravery of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
The Prime Minister closed his address by stating that the courage and sacrifice of the armed forces will be etched into the pages of Indian history, and that every Indian stands behind them with pride and gratitude.
