What are the qualifications required to become a Statistical Officer?
Educational Qualification: To apply for the position of Statistical Officer, candidates must have a second-class Master's degree in Economics/Statistics/Mathematics/Commerce. Those with an MSc (Agriculture) in Statistics are also eligible. Additionally, candidates must have worked in a government department for at least one year in a statistical field. Applicants must be able to write in the Hindi Devanagari script and have knowledge of Rajasthani culture. Candidates in their final year of study can also apply, but they must provide proof of having acquired the educational qualification before the written examination.

Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and at most 40 years old as of January 1, 2026. Reserved categories in Rajasthan will be exempted from the upper age limit as per the rules.
