Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has issued a warning to his teammates as Mikel Arteta's side face up to another Premier League title race.

The Gunnershave a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League table after the opening nine matches, and most recently claimed a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend.

Arteta's charges are preparing to face Brighton in the Carabao Cup before returning to Premier League action on Saturday with an away trip to Burnley.

Arsenal have missed out on the Premier League in each of the previous three seasons, with Manchester City (twice) and Liverpool emerging as champions while Arteta and Co. were forced to settle for second-place finishes.

Saka has been a key player for Arsenal in each of the last three title challenges and has three goals to his name so far this season.

The England international has issued a title warning to his Arsenal teammates, whilst also praising the new signings for settling in quickly to life in North London.

Arsenal signed Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze, Cristhian Mosquera, Martin Zubimendi, Piero Hincapie, Noni Madueke, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard during the summer transfer window.

"We've suffered a lot of injuries already, but the players that have come in have shown that we can all keep the level at the highest, and that's what it's going to take for us to go all the way," said Saka in an interview with Sky Sports.

"I think that's where we've slipped off in a few seasons, but this season, we've got that and it's making me really believe we can do it.

"I've been in the title race the last three years now and finished second in all of them. Just the understanding from that and what I've learnt is that now it's not so important.

"It's in April, that's when you need to be there and that's where you need to try and be top. Now it's about standing around it, building your momentum and then going on a run of performances."
